Restoration Event with Issaquah Alps Trails Club

Join Issaquah Alps Trails Club and Washington State Parks on an invasive species removal event, where we’ll be working to eradicate European Holly on Squak Mountain. This friendly-appearing plant is actually a Class-C noxious weed, with its dense shrubbery stifling our Western WA native plants if left unchecked. Join Anne Newcomb, our restoration extraordinaire, and the knowledgeable Washington State Parks Cascade Foothills Park Ranger Ellen Moline in helping our native plants thrive.

Where: Squak Mountain State Park, Issaquah
